Mathair (Mother) Necklace

$43.00

Meaning mother in Gaelic, this necklace is carefully hand stamped with máthair. It is available in sterling silver, rose gold filled, or gold filled and is accompanied by a freshwater pearl if you choose.

The Details
•Handcrafted using sterling silver, gold filled, or rose gold filled.
•The charm measures 5/8"

The Process
Hand stamping is a very different process than traditional engraving. Hand stamping is done entirely by hand, with a hammer and steel stamp. The stamps have letters or designs carved on the end and each is individually stamped into the metal with a hammer. Every item is carefully handcrafted, so certain variations are to be expected. This adds to the one of a kind nature and overall quality of each piece I create.
